We, the students of our school are demanding Big J (Jackson) to be allowed to DJ our prom this school year.

Big J has been working very hard to perfect his skills as a DJ. He learned the art of DJing from his father.

Since then he has been working on building his experience and repertoire. What was a hobby for him has grown into a passion and he hopes for a professional career in DJing. He has acquired the skills and knowledge of a DJ through experience and practice.Big J has performed at several local venues including Disco Chicken (Rockford), and Cornsweat (DeKalb). He has experienced the challenge of entertaining crowds and has played many different types of music.

He knows that DJing is not about simply playing a record. It is a skillful act that requires the performer to read the crowd, keep the energy level high, and create a unique atmosphere. Prom is one of those special events. Why pay someone to perform for our students when we have an up and coming DJ willing to give it his all for our students to make a good impression?

Why not let him show us what he can do?

Why Big J? Experience DJing at live events,

Years of learning and building DJ skills,

Mentorship and hands on experience from his dad,

Experience with crowds and music tastes,

True passion for music and live entertainment,

A strong desire to turn DJing into a professional career,

Knows the students and the kind of music they love,

A genuine opportunity for a student to shine

Our school's administration should not favor one student over another. Instead they should give an opportunity to a student willing to work for the school, for our students. Let the students have a good time and let Big J provide the music.

Sign this petition to let the administration know that BIG J DESERVES TO DJ OUR PROM THIS SCHOOL YEAR!
