As you are aware, Governor J.B. Pritzker’s executive order ends April 30th. Until there is a vaccine or an effective treatment for COVID19, the safest thing for mental health clinicians and our clients is to continue telemental health services. We are asking the governor to extend the order AND for insurance companies like BCBS to make telemedicine and telemental health routine coverage on any HIPAA compliant platform. We are also asking employers with self-funded plans to make this routine coverage as well on any HIPAA compliant platform. Please continue to share the petition.
