Paramount has recently announced the episode format will have the entire season posted at once instead of being in weekly increments. This can be a detriment to both the show and the community.

Benefits of Weekly Releases:

• Engagement: The community will be able to talk about the current episode and what they believe will happen next. If a show were to release its episodes all at once, many people would not discuss certain episodes in favor of others. Shows that are released all at once may also not have the same influence on community and conversation as shows like "Smiling Friends" or "Invincible," allowing hype to last throughout the season and longer rather than peaking and then dropping.

• Shorter Breaks In-Between: If a 12-episode season is produced in a year, a binge strategy leaves 51 weeks between seasons with nothing released, whereas a weekly release allows 39. This will allow for a shorter gap between each release in the series, allowing fans to get consistent content.

• Cliffhangers: An episode can end on a note that leaves you anticipating the next one, but that effect is pretty limited when you can just click the "Next episode" button, so making the viewer wait a week allows that suspense to linger and have the desired anticipatory effect.

• Viewer Retention: Psychologists believe that viewers will remember episodes more clearly when using a weekly release schedule rather than a show fully released at once.

• Spoilers: Many individuals get concerned about spoilers if they fall behind, so they feel pressured to catch up. When the whole season is released at once, the viewer feels compelled to watch the entire season rapidly before coming across a topic they haven't covered previously. 

Allowing a weekly release schedule on Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will benefit the franchise's network, producers, and community. Having the entire season release at once will be a detriment to the show's popularity, and it must be changed before it is too late.
