I recently went to a stockyard with my family to sell a sheep, and the treatment of the animals has left me absolutely baffled. In the ring, every animal that was sent in was whacked an unnecessary amount of times with a flag on a stick. Some were hit so hard they fell over! The cages where the animals are kept before and after showing, we're absolutely disgusting. they looked like they had never been cleaned and there were far too many animals per pen. And the absolute worst part? Most of the animals sit in these small cages for hours in the hot Florida sun with no food or water. This is absolutely sickening. No animal deserves to be kept in these conditions.
