Snapchat currently exposes children to sexualized content, suicide-related material, and features like Snap Map that encourage stalking behaviors. This is harmful for all children, including neurodivergent kids, who may be more vulnerable online.

Snapchat should:

Remove or limit Snap Map for minors to prevent stalking. Such as strong parent control option to discourage stalking behaviours. 

Strengthen filters and moderation for sexual and harmful content. Some of the content after using the app for 5 minutes is shocking. 
Provide safer options for all users under 18, prioritizing their mental health and safety.

Children deserve safe spaces online. Let’s make Snapchat responsible.
