There have been far too many unnecessary deaths of people with seizure disorders due to negligence of our first responders, teachers, managers, medical professionals, and honestly, just people in general. 

If anyone can have a seizure out of no where and at least 65 million people have epilepsy already on this planet, why are we not more prepared to help people?

It shouldn’t be a voluntary course to take; it absolutely needs to be  mandatory. People with epilepsy already feel unsafe because of the things we go through, we don’t need to be terrified of the people who are there to supposedly help us when we are in danger.

As an epilepsy patient, I am disgusted and disappointed in the lack of care and willingness to take about 10-20 minutes to learn how to properly help and save a person having a seizure’s life.

Like I said, anyone on the planet can have a seizure at any moment… imagine if it was you or your loved one whose life was taken and it could’ve easily been prevented.
