Hello all, 

While we're not yet declaring victory on this issue, we are moving to new tactics in our efforts to Move On From the Blue Angels. Two weeks ago a number of us testified during the public comment period to the City of Seattle's Special Events Committee. There, I mentioned the support of thousands wanting to move on, and mentioned a number of folks' comments shared here.  Thank you for your stories!  

In April the AirShowClimateAction Coalition will be doing a survey for what we can all envision and more, so I'll send some updates out.  

This petition will be now doing to the members of the Special Events Committee for the City, the City Council and Mayor, and the King County Council.  Our ask is that the Special Events Committee deny the permit for the Blue Angels this year.  There is still time and many people want that.  We'll keep you posted!  And please reach out if you're interested in joining any meetings, etc coming up:  kimberlyvotes @ gmail.com (minus the gaps, added for bots)
