Hey folks! Thank you for signing this petition! A year ago I started this petition at the end of the Blue Angels week, so fed up after decades of hiding from them every August. I sent it to neighbors, friends, coworkers, but given my day job is working to accelerate climate solutions, I focused on other actions elsewhere!
But with their return, I want to turn this recurring rage into a solution — it is about climate, about celebrating peace not war, cleaner air, feeling safe, so much more.
So I reposted it on Monday with 100 signatures, and overnight our numbers doubled. Then a friend had an oped (link below) get published that included a link and we doubled again, and now almost again overnight nearly doubled.
Folks, we are close to 1k in four days! There is energy here—can you help grow the sparks? I am not even sure yet what our goal should be, except first to see how fast we can double again! :)
Check out this article and all the comments for so many that want this to go away. Times are changing and so can our city we care about!
