This past offseason was full of hype for Broncos country. With the addition of 9x Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson, hopes were high. Many thought that Denver's offense would be revitalized after several years of mediocrity with a revolving door at QB following Peyton Manning's retirement, but boy were we wrong. 

We're now 13 weeks into the season and the Broncos offense ranks last in points per game (a full 2 points less than the second to last team - the Houston Texans) and near the bottom of the league in practically every other significant category. The massive cornball playing quarterback has been putting up similarly putrid numbers. Wilson has been among the worst quarterbacks in the league and still has four more bathrooms in his home (12) than he has TD passes on the season (8). Who knew that when Russ started calling himself "Mr. Unlimited" he was really referring to the pain and suffering he would cause Broncos fans? 

The thumb of a head coach over on the sidelines has been similarly terrible, but at least fans didn't drop $100 or more to buy his jersey. The Broncos are paying Russell Wilson $230 million guaranteed over the next five years. The least he could do is pay us back for for all of our hard earned money we spent on his jersey only for him to become the laughingstock of the league. It's either that or I try and return the jersey to his and Ciara's store, The House of LR&C, in the Park Meadows Mall and then berate the employees who are probably making minimum wage for not letting me do so.
