Make Rules Surrounding Targeted Harassment Clearer

Being a content creator myself, I have personally experienced a wave of targeted abuse. Not only has this abuse affected my online presence, but it has also stripped away the comfort I once found in being part of the content creator community. I, along with many other content creators, experience name-calling, homophobic slurs and doxing.

I want to call on major content creation platforms, YouTube and Twitch, to make their rules surrounding this type of harassment clearer and easier to understand for content creators and viewers alike. This would serve everyone well, but especially people of marginalised communities.

By signing this petition, you encourage Twitch and YouTube to make their policy on harassment clearer. This could not only lead to less harassment being spread, but also ensure that more people in breach of Twitch's and YouTube's harassment policies will be dealt with in a more effective manner.
