'Rise of the Guardians' has so much potential to be expanded, considering that it's based on a book series by William Joyce. Wouldn't it be great if we could get to see the backstory for characters such as Nicholas , Bunnymund, Toothiana, Sanderson Mansnoozie, as well as Kozmotis Pitchiner. The connection between Jack Frost and Jamie Bennett would be further explored, especially since there's been a lot of speculation that Jamie's the descendant of Jack's sister, and there's also the theory that Jack's sister was reborn by the Man in the Moon as a Mini Fairy, which would explain the similarities (beauty mark under right eye) between her and Baby Tooth. It would really be nice to see much more of Jack Frost's human life, when he was known as the colonial trickster named Jackson Overland. The relationship between Jack Frost and Pitch Black could have more development, because they both know what it's like to be invisible, lonely, and not believed in. It would be also interesting to see Jack Frost going dark and becoming a villain.
