So, yesterday, 19th January 2026, I had another appointment with my gynecologist. It was a short, sharp and shiny appointment in which she explained to me the risks, potential side effects and what might happen afterwards and then had me sign the paperwork! I have officially been booked in for a hysterectomy! I keep my ovaries for the hormones (provided they're still healthy) but tubes, uterus and cervix are going! I cried in my car! 

But, just because I achieved this, does not mean I am going to stop this petition! This was not about me, this is about every woman (now and future) who is experiencing pain, too much bleeding or just doesn't want kids/anymore kids. This is about giving EVERY woman choice and control over their bodies.
