Not a long one today, just a statement:

If a woman says "I want a hysterectomy/tubal ligation etc because of reason(s) X, Y and/or Z" then that should be it. Doctors obviously have to explain the risks involved, the procedure taken, etc, so the woman is fully informed before signing paperwork but we should not be interrogated or told "what if you/partner/future partner wants kids/more kids" OR as i was once told just for asking for my tubes tied "in my culture, you have at least six more children in you!" This was after FOUR kids already 😡
