Not a pleasant topic but please, again, bear with me.
So, today's question was: "what is the normal amount of blood loss during a menstrual period?"
"A normal amount of blood loss during a menstrual period is between 30 to 40 milliliters, which is about two to three tablespoons, but a range up to 60 milliliters is also considered normal. Heavy menstrual bleeding is generally defined as losing more than 80 milliliters (about five tablespoons) of blood per period or having a period that lasts longer than seven days."
I know MANY women who can say they bleeding 80ml or more each cycle, risking or even dealing with anaemia or iron deficiency. Why should women have to take supplements, add MORE pills to their routine or even iron transfusions, when all they want is a hysterectomy???
I've not met a single woman yet who has regretted her hysterectomy! Not one!
Please keep sharing! Let our voice be heard loud! We don't deserve pain or more medications and supplements! Let women choose!
Thank you all so much!
