With GTA 6 getting closer, I thought this would be a pretty cool thing for Rockstar to consider.

Make Red Dead Redemption 2 free to claim for a limited time around the GTA 6 release.

Not permanently. Even a few days or a week would be enough.

Rockstar has done something similar before with GTA V, which was available to claim for free on the Epic Games Store for a limited time in 2020. Millions of players picked it up and it became a huge moment for the game.

So why not do something similar with RDR2?

There are probably still a lot of people who haven't played RDR2. Making it free for a short time around the GTA 6 release could be a nice way to let more people try it out and celebrate the launch.

The petition is simply to see how much interest there is in the idea and whether it can catch the attention of Rockstar or the platforms such as Epic Games, Amazon Luna, or another service that offers free games.

If enough people are interested, maybe someone at Rockstar or one of these platforms takes notice.

If you'd like to see this happen, sign it and share it.

Let’s see where this goes.
