Don't you love pumpkin pie? Pumpkin spice? Pumpkin scented candles? Most people are fond of pumpkins, one of the best multi-use fruits we have. Decorations, baked goods, and other products are all made with these wonderful fruits but these products, and pumpkins themselves, are only sold in ONE SEASON! As someone who loves pumpkins, I think it would be best to just recognize these fruits for how great they are and sell pumpkins and pumpkin products ALL YEAR. "But pumpkins only grow in fall! How will we provide them all year?" By considering that different areas of the world have different weather and temperatures, there will always be multiple areas that can produce pumpkins due to having fall-like conditions. Don't feel like doing international trade for some reason? GREENHOUSES! Greenhouses are buildings that have an ISOLATED AND CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT which means we can grow WHATEVER THE HECK WE WANT IN THEM! Pumpkins are delicious, useful produce that CAN be provided year round through many means and doing this would also provide numerous jobs, whether that be for farmers in other countries or for people working in greenhouses. The only hurdle between us and having pumpkins all year is that we just aren't taking the initiative to change!
