Make Our Neighborhood Safer: Stop Speeding and Reckless Driving

The Issue

We, the undersigned residents of Senseny Village, are deeply concerned about the ongoing traffic safety issues within our community—particularly the repeated failure of drivers to stop at designated stop signs and the overall speeding problem on our streets.

These conditions pose a serious and immediate threat to the safety of our children, pedestrians, and all residents. While we understand that a formal traffic calming study cannot be initiated until the roads are refinished and officially handed over to the state, we are requesting that temporary safety measures be implemented as soon as possible to help slow traffic and prevent potential accidents.

Examples of temporary measures we strongly support include, but are not limited to:

 • Additional or larger stop signs

 • Flashing stop sign lights or reflective markings

 • Painted crosswalks or “SLOW – CHILDREN AT PLAY” signage

 • Temporary speed humps, cones, or barriers

 • Increased visibility or enforcement reminders

We appreciate the HOA’s ongoing efforts and communication, but we believe immediate steps are necessary to protect our community while we wait for the permanent handover process to be completed.

We respectfully ask that this petition be acknowledged and discussed at the next HOA meeting, with a clear plan of action to address these safety concerns.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
