Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this. I live on a road in Lake site with a steep, blind hill which people often take at unsafe speeds. For several years we have tried to have anything from speed bumps to warning signs posted with little success. In recent time, many small children have moved into the area. As they play in their front yards, they deserve the assurance of safety. We often worry that should something as innocent as a ball rolling into the road occur, that they could be hit by a speeding driver. By signing this petition, you will help us motion for physical safety precautions to be installed and for a public safety message to be shared across the Lakesite community.
