Countless times over the past four years, we've witnessed police, ambulance, and even firearms responses right on our doorstep. This is not the legacy I want to leave for my children or the long-standing residents who have called this place home for over two decades. Now, more than ever, I'm terrified by the threat of harder drugs infiltrating our community.

Our estate deserves to regain its tranquillity and safety. We urge our local council and law enforcement agencies to increase neighborhood patrols and to establish a community outreach program that addresses addiction and supports rehabilitation. It's crucial that high-risk individuals receive the help they need to transform their lives away from crime and substance abuse.

Furthermore, implementing better community lighting, securing public spaces, and organizing neighborhood watch programs would deterring criminals and aiding in our protection. We must foster a secure environment where children play without fear, just as they did in the past.
