In our community of Taman Bukit Mayang Emas, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, pets are more than just animals. They are family members who have stood by us through life-changing events and even life-and-death situations. Their unwavering support and unconditional love have been a source of strength for many of us. Yet, we face the heartbreaking reality that our building is not pet-friendly.

Pets play an essential role in our lives. According to the Malaysian National Animal Welfare Foundation (MNAWF), pets can significantly improve their owners' mental health by reducing stress levels and increasing happiness. Despite this fact, many buildings across Malaysia still do not allow pets.

We believe that everyone should have the right to live with their family members - human or not - without fear of eviction or penalties. We call on the management of our building to reconsider its stance on this matter and make necessary adjustments to accommodate these beloved members of our families.
