I've made Contact with the Rt Hon Michelle Donelan and made her aware that our Petition exists, I have forwarded a copy of the email to the DCMS enquiries email address also.
I have pointed Ms Donelan to this Petition and made her aware of my story and others that exist on Trustpilot.
I really hope that someone from the DCMS will engage with us to ensure that Openreach is accountable to an external body, the ISP's or the End Users that are adversely affected when things go wrong.
It is just plain wrong that people are being held Hostage by them. There is no use obtaining a deadlock letter from your ISP when it's the fault of Openreach as it will lead nowhere as they are not accountable to the Ombudsman.
This, I believe, is the fundamental problem. They have to be answerable to someone or they can do as they wish, when they wish, and that can't be right.
Everyone is accountable to someone. They should be no different.
