I received a call from BT on Saturday. The lady explained that she was still trying to reach the Patch Lead Engineer and had no updates.

But, I said, I've received a text from Openreach they're coming on Wednesday. The lady replied that she would check it out as they didn't want to let me down (Why, I'm not sure, it's never bothered them the umpteen times they have done it before).

She called me back, they're not coming on Wednesday as it was a text that was autogenerated after a failed appointment.

Yes, really. There are no words.

After profusely apologising, she assured me that a top Engineer (!) from Openreach would contact me on Monday and I was the highest priority.

No one from Openreach has called, AGAIN.

If this is what it feels like to be on top of the Priority ladder, I'd hate to be at the bottom.

They honestly could not care less. It feels like they're trying to set World Records for cock ups and apathy.

I've contacted OFCOM, they are aware of what's happening but they advise to contact the ISP (!) or to go to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Scheme which I can't as the problem lies with Openreach and they are not signed up.

Hence, this petition.

At this point it's beginning to feel like Badger baiting.

Thanks again, for signing.

I have no idea where to go from from here to be honest. It seems like most people want to rant about things but when they actually have the chance to do something about it, they don't.

I still haven't been given a reason why BT have violated their vulnerable people policy.

Strange times, indeed.
