I had a phone call from BT stating that they were still waiting to get hold of the Patch lead at Openreach. About 10 seconds later I get a text from Openreach saying that the delay had been resolved. Or rather I get 3 texts and 3 replies from them, even that didn't go right.
An Engineer is due on Wednesday Afternoon. Frankly, I will believe it when I see it and I'm still fully expecting another excuse as to why it can't be done.
The timing is very suspect. I get a direct Tweet from a Daily Mail reporter and the next day Openreach say the delay has been resolved. It's pretty clumsy.
I was told that the cables were buried under Concrete not that there was a delay. It just doesn't add up.
Seems it's more about saving their reputation than genuinely helping Customers in need.
I also received a letter from BT today stating that I can contact the Ombudsman to review the case, after BT stating that it wouldn't go anywhere as Openreach have not signed up to the Ombudsman.
That, to me is intellectually dishonest at best.
I think they just want me to go away now. I'm not going anywhere, if my Broadband gets sorted, it's already too late in my eyes and it's not just me that's affected. I'm trying hard to promote the petition but I think people are ranting at their ISP's rather than Openreach, I'll still try and get the Petition moving even if My Broadband gets installed.
Sadly, the petition seems to have stalled somewhat.
If it's the Network or connection, it's Openreach not your ISP.
I've come to the conclusion that BT Customer Service is basically Micro Teams. There's noone to see things through when things go wrong, they genuinely try to resolve things but they're powerless when it comes to Openreach.
Most of the replies from Customer Services are Cut & Paste and trying to get you into DM's so it's not visible. You can see it on Trustpilot too.
I also emailed the BT CEO Philip Janssen twice requesting that he reads what has happened to me, these were passed to Executive complaints without him reading. The second email didn't even get a reply.
I paid a premium to go with BT for a Premium Service, ironically I haven't had any service just lots of sorrys and broken promises.
I'll keep going even if My Broadband is installed, the morality behind this petition won't go away by solving my problem.
The problem will still exist.
