Make Norway apologize for killing Freya the Walrus by building a statue in her honor.
Why this petition matters

We were shocked and saddened to hear that the government of Norway killed their country's celebrity walrus this past weekend.
"The decision to euthanize the walrus was made based on an overall assessment of the continued threat to human safety," said Frank Bakke-Jensen, the director general at the Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries.
Despite what Frank B.J. says, it is Shinesty's opinion that killing a curvy walrus simply because she's having a hot girl summer is classic Norwegian elitism taken to a dark and violent extreme.
Shinesty is starting a petition to seek justice for Freya's death. This petition demands that...
- A statue of Freya sunbathing on a boat be erected in Oslo.
- The government issues an unequivocal Statement of Regret.
- Statement of Regret be spoken by Frank B.J. while he wears a t-shirt that says "I Am Not The Walrus."
If we succeed, we will have accomplished something great for the people and walruses of Norway. Sign today! (Artist's rendering of statue below.)
