"Why don't kids go outside anymore?", because there's nothing to do anymore. Teenager's activities to go outside in Sydney are incredibly limiting, our options mainly include shopping centres, cinemas, and parks. We, teenagers, are forgotten and have nothing we can actually do here. Other cities actually include free events or installations that offer any type of entertainment for teenagers, but all we ever see are events targeted towards children/families or over 18 events. All we ask is just something for us, if you want us to go outside to not be on our phones THEN GIVE US A REASON. 

By providing teenagers of Sydney events, you get youth to go outside and interact with their local community. These events could contribute towards the local economy, by providing job opportunities to people to help organise and manage these events. The events in question would also be used to boost local businesses that surround where these events would be placed. Teenagers have felt excluded as there is nothing catered towards us, but by providing us events or even installations, you provide Sydney boosts in the community by adding a new demographic into the mix. 

These events aren't necessarily for only people ages 13-17, but could also provide people who have turned 18 another type of event they can go to besides a club. These events will provide people with social interactions too, a YouGov poll has provided statistics that show 69% of Youth felt they were alone in the last fortnight, and 59% feel they have no one to talk to; these events would lower these statistics giving teenagers a reason to go outside and interact with others.
