Petition to make merseyrail tickets cheaper for all and more accessible for 16-18 year olds, children, the disabled and the elderly. 16-18 year olds should not have to show ID as it is impractical and no 16 year old or children have any ID apart from their passport which should not have to be used when not passing a port. The elderly should be able to use any free train pass at any time of the day, not just between certain hours. Above all the price of the train on merseyrail is disgusting and merseyrail has become an insatiable company always greedy for more, many people pay almost £5 to go two or three stops in their own city. It needs to stop.
