Make Mega Stones Accessible for Everyone in Pokémon Z-A

Make Mega Stones Accessible for Everyone in Pokémon Z-A
Il problema
We, the Pokémon community, are deeply concerned about the current design decision in Pokémon Z-A that locks Mega Stones—essential items for Mega Evolution—behind ranked play.
Mega Evolution has always been one of the most exciting features of the Pokémon series. It allows us to experience our favorite Pokémon in new forms, create unique strategies, and enjoy the thrill of battles. However, making Mega Stones obtainable only through ranking systems unfairly limits a huge part of the player base.
Not every trainer enjoys competitive ranking. Many of us play Pokémon for the story, the exploration, the local battles, or simply the joy of raising and evolving our partners at our own pace. Forcing players into ranked matches in order to unlock essential content punishes casual fans and risks dividing the community.
We strongly believe that all players should have the opportunity to obtain Mega Stones through local, offline, or in-game progression methods. Ranked play can—and should—have exclusive rewards to celebrate skill and dedication, but Mega Stones should not be locked behind this wall. They are a fundamental part of gameplay, not just an optional bonus.
We ask Nintendo and Game Freak to:
Ensure Mega Stones are available through offline or in-game methods for all players.
Keep ranked play rewards separate, offering cosmetic items, titles, or unique features instead.
Respect both casual and competitive trainers by making Pokémon Z-A inclusive and fun for everyone.
Pokémon has always been about community, adventure, and inclusivity. Don’t let Mega Evolution become a privilege for only a fraction of the fans.
Sign this petition if you believe Mega Stones should remain accessible to all trainers, regardless of how they choose to play!
