While many Americans might not know this, the recipe of their Mcdonald's fries is not the same standard used by the rest of the world. While most other countries have changed their recipe to remove the dairy-based beef flavoring for vegan and allergen sensitivity, the United States is left with the old recipe that excludes several groups from enjoying. This is a change they can clearly make as they have already done so in several markets, but have opted not to since they have not been a push yet in the United States.

To any person that struggles with allergen issues, I'm sure you can sympathize with, as seeing an unnecessary allergen in a favorite dish has plagued us all at one point or another. by signing this we can push to make one more food allergen friendly for more to enjoy

To the vegans, while I understand that many of you have issues with McDonald's as a corporation, this can be more than just having one more food option. Instead, see it as a small victory in the right direction. While you might not be able to completely change their menu and practices, taking the non-vegan friendly part out of one of the most popular menu items at one of the most popular restaurants should certainly not only make a dent but also start progress in the right direction.

McDonalds has stated before that the only reason they haven't made this change already is that there is no demand to do so. This is our chance to show them that we do want the change. Thank you for your signature.
