Make McDonald's fries available in the morning
The Issue
My 4-year-old son is a level 3 nonverbal autistic child. Many parents with autistic children can relate to how challenging meal times can be when your child is selective about their food. For our family, McDonald's french fries are a staple. My son loves them and sometimes they are the only food he will eat.
For us, the limited availability of McDonald's fries becomes a huge challenge. Like many children with specific eating habits, routine is important to my son. However, since french fries are not available during breakfast hours at McDonald's, it disrupts the flow of our daily routine when my son refuses to eat anything else. This isn't just an inconvenience—it's a genuine struggle that impacts our family life.
We understand McDonald's offers other breakfast items, but making french fries available in the morning could significantly improve the quality of life for families like ours. This isn't just about personal preference; it's about accessibility and understanding the unique needs of customers with special dietary preferences.
We implore McDonald's to consider this modification to their menu. More inclusivity and flexibility could allow so many more families to maintain their routines and provide their children with the foods that they rely on.
Please join me in asking McDonald's to make their beloved french fries available during breakfast hours so that all families can experience ease, consistency, and happiness in their morning routines. Your signature can help make a difference in the lives of many children and families. Sign this petition to support our plea to McDonald’s and make mornings better for us all.
