As a parent of twin toddlers and a regular visitor to the Mandai Zoo and River Safari, I’m deeply concerned about the recent membership price increase from $332 to $505—a 52% jump that significantly impacts families like mine.

The new Rainforest Wild ASIA attraction, while exciting, includes stone walkways and elevated boardwalks that are not suitable or safe for children under 5. Especially if their motor development milestones are delayed or slower. 

Yet, families are now being charged higher fees that include access to this feature, even if it’s not usable for our little ones.

We’re asking Mandai Wildlife Group to:

1. Introduce a family-friendly pricing tier for households with young children who may not benefit from all attractions.
2. Allow members to choose specific parks for their annual pass, rather than being required to pay for access to all

We understand the need to support operational costs and growth, but this price hike by Mandai Wildlife Group makes it harder for young families to enjoy and learn from your parks. Wildlife education should be accessible to all; especially children, who are the next generation of conservationists.
