I am a member of an extremely controversial community, club, and minority attending the LoneStar Tomball college campus. My involvement with student life has been hindered by the presence of a student organization that has been perpetuated harmful rhetoric about the minority I am a part of, as well as my friends, family, and my life partner.

TPUSA is a political organization at LSC-T that continues to make the campus feel unsafe for many individuals and this petition is to change the environment from "nonpolitical except for TPUSA" to "nonpolitical" for ALL politics. NO ONE who pays to attend college should have to feel marginalized or unsafe for their gender, race, or ethnicity. 

The group states it is not a hateful organization, yet promotes dismantling women's reproductive health procedures, targeting people of color, spreading disinformation (e.g. that the Gulf of Mexico is called the "Gulf of America") while also parading saying they are a nonpolitical student life organization involved in political issues. 

This petition is intended to show support for the elimination of all political talk on campus. Yes this includes your political beliefs, and the ones you do not like. There is no choice on what political beliefs are "okay" for a learning facility meant to accept the people of Texas.
