Why this petition matters

Started by Ellouis Hawksley

It’s law to stop and report if you hit a dog, sheep, cow, goat or horse. BUT NOT A CAT?

When has there ever been a sheep, cow or goat on a residential area?

What makes cats so different? They’re beloved pets of young and old, families and every individual.

My family have recently lost our young cat due to being hit by a car. This has left us all heartbroken. EMPTY!

Im sure many other people have lost their beloved felines to the person behind the wheel of a vehicle and it’s soul destroying to come home to your pet in a state and no longer with us or even not have your kitty come home and never ever know what happened to them.

So please come together with myself and many others to change this and make it  LAW TO STOP AND REPORT when a cat has been hit by car. This needs to change to educate people that all animals lives matter and cats should not be ruled out when they’re a part of families and someone’s life.
