On Wednesday morning my beautiful boy Blu was ran over. This hasn't just changed my life, but also my daughters, our other cats and his beloved bonded brother Tabby. 

This person knew what they had done and drove away! This is so so wrong and evil! At the minute it's not against the law for someone to hit a cat and drive away. I want to change this! 

All these other petitions are so clever, and wrote so lovely. Telling you about the fact that in UK 230,000 cats are run over every year and 60,000 to 200,000 of these cats pass away. The real numbers are hard to know as these often do not get reported! Unlike if you hit a dog or a horse then its a legal requirement to report it. But not a cat. So ridiculously unfair! 

Please please sign this petition! I really want to make a difference and dont understand why it hasn't been done sooner! Cats are our family let's please treat them like that.
