We are Cosmic LEGO F.O.R.C.E., a middle school First LEGO League team from Illinois.  As part of our competition we’re designing a prosthetic for para-athletes.  

Did you know that insurance companies only cover 1 everyday prosthetic for differently abled individuals?  If they want a prosthetic to use for athletic activities they have to buy it themselves!  

So far only 5 states have made laws requiring insurance companies to cover an additional prosthetic (AR, ME, IL, NM, CO). Our goal is to expand that number to all 50 states in the United States! #FLL Masterpiece
