Sixteen dogs were picked up from Lotus boulevard about a month ago and they have still not been dropped back to the society
About a month back an eight month old child of a labourer working at Lotus Boulevard was mauled by a dog and the child died,
No one saw the dog who mauled the child but sixteen innocent dogs, one of whom was a pregnant dog were forcefully removed from the society
15 dogs were dumped at the SPCA centre which is run by the Noida Authority and one has been kept in a private shelter by the order of the Noida Authority
The pregnant dog has died and so have her six puppies
Of the remaining 14 dogs 3 were removed from the centre and shifted to a foster home as they became sick
As per dog rules 2001 only unsterilized dogs can be picked up and then dropped back once sterilized, and only dogs suspected of rabies are to be picked up and after kept in observation for 10 days and if found fit they are to be dropped back as well
The 11 dogs kept in three cages are being illegally kept and being punished for no fault of theirs
They 9 have not been found ferocious yet they are being forced to live in cages to die a slow death (Pic in the post)
Sanjay Mahapatra who runs an animal shelter called the House of Stray Animals did a blood test for these 11 dogs and the report shows that 9 of them are suspected of having tick fever as their platelet count is quite low
These dogs were healthy when forcefully and illegally picked up from Lotus boulevard but today they have fallen sick
They need medication otherwise they will die of tick fever
Is the Noida Autnority concerned for the welfare of dogs? They are only interested in pleasing people and that too devils in human flesh
The dogs are staying in an ABC unit which has no medication facility so that means slow death for them
This is what will happen sooner or later to all the dogs who have been picked up illegally and kept in pounds and shelters by the orders of the Noida Authority
Shelters and pounds are not right place for stray dogs as they contract diseases easily there yet these govt officials are only preaching pounds and shelters for stray dogs
The Noida Authority has been served legal notice twice but the Authority has no fear of law
They consider themselves above law
Today the condition in Noida and Ghaziabad are pathetic
The dogs are being killed, beaten and relocated and the caregivers and the feeders are being assaulted
A video has gone viral where few residents of Ghaziabad are chanting slogans "The person who feeds dogs, beat up that rascal with shoes"

Feeding of animals is considered good in every religion
Especially in Hinduism in many families the tradition has been to give the first chapati to a cow and the last chapati to a dog
What species are these people one just fails to understand
Their talibanic mentality and barbaric act has shamed India and they are a curse to whichever religion they belong to because no religion preaches such cruelty towards animals and their caregivers
The Supreme Court has not yet given It's final decision on feeding of stray dogs and their fate
Whether the dogs will have the freedom to live on the streets as they are living now or they will be thrown in pounds and shelters to live a life of a prisoner and to die a slow death one does not know
The common man of India especially the caregivers and feeders of India are sitting with folded hands and praying to God that atleast the judiciary does not fail them and their four legged friends
But it seems the Noida Authority and the Delhi Chief Minister have already assumed that the court will order dog pounds and shelters for dogs
Well if that day will ever come then it will be the end of the canines in India
None of us know what's in store for the Indian dogs and their caregivers but their last hope is the Indian judiciary
Dog rules 2001 and the ABC program were never implemented in the right manner
It is the system which was faulty and instead of corrrecting the system the Mumbai High Court Nagpur Bench gave more power to the already corrupt and brainless Nagpur municipal corporation and penalized the caregiver who actually helps in the implementation of the ABC program
It is the caregiver whose participation makes the ABC program successful but unfortunately the the caregivers have never been officially involved in the ABC program
The ABC program remained like a secret document which was safely kept in a safe hidden from the world for almost twenty years
The people responsible for it's implementation and the people who made policy for it's implemtation are the real culprits
If at all anybody needs to be punished it is they and not the dogs and caregivers of India
