Gujarat is yet again in news for human brutality over dogs. Very often we see and hear men beating dogs with sticks and stones but this time two stray dogs have been attacked by a human monster by a knife. One dog has died (pic in the post) and the other is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The culprit and his family are absconding

In Chandigarh a man tied a stray dog in the most ruthless manner with a rope and then dragged him to his vehicle and left him at some unknown place to die. Relocation of stray dogs is an offence but just how many people in India know about it?????

The answer is simple and clear the majority of the Indian population is absolutely ignorant about dog laws.
The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation has time and money to waste on illegal boards which says dogs and pets are not allowed in public parks and no one can feed dogs in the park. The AWBI had to issue guidelines to the corporation for getting these boards removed. Wish the corporation had put up dogs rules rather than such inhuman and illegal boards which has only created a divide between man and dog.
When will the corporations of India actually act as the custodians of stray dogs??????
