The world knows Prime Minister Modi as a strong man who takes challenges head on and never stops from making tough decisions. But today he surprised the world by his tweet. He tweeted a beautiful devotional poetry and his video with his pet. 

Peacock is the national bird of India and is considered a creature from the wild. Rarely people keep it as a pet. The video shows how the Prime Minister feeds the bird and how lovingly the bird dances with its wings open in front of the Prime Minister in the early morning hours during his morning walks. 

This is indeed amazing. Generally peacocks shy away from humans but in the video one can see how comfortable the peacock is in the company of the Prime Minister. He also accompanies the Prime Minister indoors in his living room. This clearly shows the soft and compassionate side of the Prime Minister.

This side of the Prime Minister was hardly known to any of us. A poet, a lover of animals and a caregiver himself. 

The tweet has given hope to millions of animal lovers and caregivers who.were losing faith in the government and its adminstration. When most of us were thinking that our leaders give a  damn to animals and their welfare this tweet has come as a ray of hope.

Lets hope that in days to come our honourable Prime Minister will take initiatives which will make animal welfare and animal laws stronger and more robust in this country.
