The Mayur Vihar, Pocket B, RWA has a track record of harassing the caregivers. Last year in 2019 the president stopped a group of young caregivers from feeding the dogs. They have been nasty with their own residents too. For the last year's case kindly go on the link below:
Yesterday on 26th June 2020 Urvashi (M- 8750719644) resident of Pocket A as usual went to feed dogs of the area when a man residing in the building (on the first floor) adjacent to the guard room shouted at her and asked her to stop feeding the dogs and asked the guards not to allow her inside the colony.
Today morning on 27th June 2020 when she went to feed the dogs at 6 AM the guards told her that the RWA has asked him not to allow her inside the colony.
Urvashi came back without feeding the dogs. She didn't resisted because she is sick and tired of this everyday fights and quarrels.
The problem with RWAs is that they are ready to sacrifice laws because all that matters to them is votes. They stoop to any level to please their valuable voters.
Urvashi and her friends used to feed around 20 dogs earlier but now they have left 10 of them because a caregiver from.pocket C Sumit-9717712715) has volunteered to feed them. Urvashi now feeds only the remaining 10.
Isn't it a Shame that people from adjoining pockets are taking care of feeding and sterilization of dogs of pocket B. It has been reported that the dogs near pocket B market are in the worse condition. They are famished and sick. No wonder such is the condition of the dogs in a pocket where the RWA not only breaks the law but also harasses people who feed dogs.
They give all kinds of excuses to harass the caregivers. Like cleanliness, dog litter, rabies and now covid. Imagine they went to the extent of accusing the caregivers of stealing. Imagine such is the mentality of the so called educated people of Delhi.
Would'nt be surprised if covid 19 is the latest excuse given by the RWA for stopping Urvashi from feeding the dogs.
Now how is feeding the dogs responsible for spreading Covid?
If tomorrow the hungry dogs will attack the passerbys will the RWA of pocket B take the responsibility or the man who shouted at Urvashi for feeding the dogs? Actually it is such people who are responsible of dog bites and dog attacks in their area.
Such RWAs are a blot in the name of social welfare. They should be banned and their members should be debarred from contesting elections in near future. They are not only flouting animal laws but also depriving a living being from food abd water which is the fundamental right of every living being on this earth.
