Nothing can be more disgusting and shameful than what the RWA of Greater Kailash 1, W Block.might be contemplating to do under the guidance of a resident named Wadhwa.
Greater Kailash 1 is a posh locality where quite wealthy and rich people of Delhi stay but it seems few residents have very poor knowledge of dog laws and even poorer heart for the man's best friend.
They are sick people who have to be cautioned now otherwise it will be too late. Just like any other RWA of Delhi, it seems the RWA of GK 1 also want to get rid of the stray dogs of their colony. Either they are not aware about dog laws that dogs cannot be relocated or they are ready to take law into their hands and get them relocated and killed. This is nothing new in the capital.city.
Anyhow the RWA is taking guidance from one of its resident Mr. Wadhwa. In a conversation with residents Wadhwa has acknowledged that when he was Chairman, Finance Committee of the Gymkhana Club, Delhi he bribed the NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Corporation) to pick up the dogs and get them relocated. But as the dogs are territorial animals so they sniffed their way back to the club within 3 to 4 days. Hence, they were left with no other option but to get them killed.
He is now suggesting the residents of his colony to do the same but he seems to be apprehensive about the dog feeders of the colony as they may not agree with his illegal and barbaric solution. To read the entire conversation and the misdeeds of Wadhwa kindly go on the link below:

Imagine the rich and the educated of Delhi hate dogs so much that they openly commit crime against them and that too under the patronage of the municipal corporation.
If what Wadhwa has written is true then all the employees of NDMC responsible for relocation of dogs from Gymkhana club should be punished.
The Dog rules came in the year 2001 which clearly said that the dogs cannot be relocated and they can only be sterilized and vaccinated for rabies. The incident of Gymkhana club dogs who were first relocated by the NDMC and then killed by the members of the club took place in the year 2005. And the sad part is that such cruelty is still going on........and the murderers are now encouraging others to do the same with the colony dogs. They have no fear of law and no guilt. For them an Indian dog is a rabid animal who is better off being killed.
And what about the municipal corporation of Delhi? Are they any less guilty?
Should the Municipal Corporation still continue with the ABC programme?
Do they deserve to be the legal custodians of dogs of India?
And lastly the RWAs should be stoped from interfering and poking their nose into dog welfare of their colony. They should be stoped from policing the caregivers and torturing the dogs.
It's time The AWBI should start taking strict action against such associations and it's members.
