The Arvind Kejriwal Government has done a commendable job by starting issuing e-passes to the animal feeders for feeding the animals. Anyone desirous of getting a pass may go on the following link and apply. It is very easy and absolutely appropriate at the current time when social distancing and restriction in movement is the need of the hour.

The Delhi Government's  magnimous move has been welcomed by all the animal lovers across India. They have set a good example for other states of India to follow. And other states too should follow the Delhi model if they don't want their animals to die of hunger and thirst.

But  there is a big responsibility on the shoulders of the caregivers and animal feeders as well, especially when the government is issuing e passes.

They should apply for it only if commuting is required otherwise they should not waste the time and resources of the government. One cannot afford any kind of luxury at this time when the whole world is going through econimic recession and India is no exception.

The AWBI has very categorically specified in it's letter that animal feeding is operational even during lockdown so for feeding animals in and around the colony one does not require e-passes. E-passes are only required for people who are commuting on roads and have to go long distance to feed their animals.

So let's be responsible and show the government that animal feeders are an asset and not a liability on the government. They are doing a service which very few have the might and heart to do.
