The honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the people of his own constituency (Varanasi) asked them to fight Corona virus with compassion.
According to him during the 21 day lockdown, two communities are suffering the most. The daily wage labourers who have no money to buy their food and the community animals who depend entirely for their survival on humans.
He has appealed to the public to help the poor and the voiceless in these trying times by giving them food and water.
Today every Indian feels proud for having such a Prime Minister. One who is talking about compassion and is urging people to help the needy around us whether it be humans or animals. The nation consists of both humans and animals apart from mountains, trees and mother Earth. Today Shri Narendra Modi has shown that he is the Prime Minister of India and he cares about all and not just the voters. The whole nation gives him a big applause for this beautiful thought.

The Delhi Government on the other hand is only focussed in helping the human needy. For them animals just don't exist. No word of compassion for animals. The word Animal or essential services for animals is absolutely missing from their guidelines. If it is somewhere in some annexure then it is not visible. In their guideline there is no mention of the veterinary services as essential services and that caregivers shall be issued passes for feeding the animals. The AWBI has issued letters to all the states saying that feeding of animals and birds should be kept operational during lockdown. Also there was a letter from the joint secretary, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Darying which clearly mentioned that govt veterinary services shall be operational and all private vet and animal shelters be operational during lockdown as they are essential services.

Why hasn't the Delhi Goverment mentioned this very vital information in their guidelines?
Don't animals fall sick? Haven't they seen dogs, cats, monkeys and cows dying on the streets of Delhi? Shouldn't they be given medical help?
Why is the Delhi government so hard hearted towards animals? Just fail to understand.
Has the govt made any arrangements on their behalf for feeding of stray animals who will definitely die of starvation in this 21 day lockdown. If the government is unable to make arrangements which is quite understandable then why is it not helping and giving full assistance to the caregivers in feeding these helpless souls? Why this lack of empathy towards the voiceless?

Today on 25th March 2020 Dr Gautam Unni (M-9810053451) who is a veterinary doctor and who wanted to give his services to the sick and injured dogs was manhandled by his own colony people. He had to shut down his clinic because the RWA of his colony didn't want him to treat the dogs. They even called the police. Even last week he was attacked by unknown people. And his only crime was that he is a veterinary doctor and his patients are mostly dogs. Action should be taken against such RWA. Such RWAs should be dissolved immediately and the members debarred for life from contesting any elections in future.

Dr Unni's clinic is in Ram Vihar (East Delhi).
Is the Delhi administration allergic to dogs and anyone human related to them?
The dogs face all kinds of cruelty, the caregivers are harassed and ridiculed and now the veterinary doctors are not being spared.
What kind of law and order is this?
Is the administration suffering from dog phobia?????
