East Delhi has been in news for riots which took place just few days back. The whole world watched how the North East Delhi was burning and there was compete administrative breakdown. Many got injured and few lost their lives. Human life.
Animal life too was lost and injured but who cares.

Animal life has very little meaning and importance in this part of Delhi.
Both in the eyes of police and the politicians who run the municipal corporation. Their recent decision of making shelters for dogs which is against Dog Rules 2001 clearly shows their apathy towards the man's best friend and their respect for law.
If the councillors don't care about law then how can one expect the police or the common man of the east Delhi constituency to have any respect for law?
On the unfortunate night of 18th January 2020 few dogs got picked up. The caregivers (Anupama and Hema) residents of East Vinod Nagar found the dogs missing on 19th morning. They looked for their dogs everywhere but didn't find them. After looking for them for more than two weeks they finally lodged a missing complaint with the Kalyanpuri Police Station on 3rd February 2020. They asked the police to provide them with the CCTV footage of 18th night but the police kept dilly dallying on the pretext of elections.
As Delhi elections were round the corner (8th February) so the police had good reasons to not to take up the case seriously.
Anyhow the caregivers waited till the elections were over and finally approached the police again but they were still not serious.
Ultimately the caregivers had to approach the councillor of the area and after her intervention the police came into action. The police promised to give the footage to the caregivers but till date the caregivers are still without any footage.
The only information they have received from the police through telephone was that around 50 dogs were picked up from the area on 18th night and they were sent to Narela, which is in North West Delhi.
The dogs were all sterilized, hence getting them picked was illegal. But the police of Kalyanpuri police station didn't find anything objectionable or illegal in it.
It's been two and a half months now but the police has taken no action nor they have shared the footage with the caregivers. But they do have the information about the dogs being picked on 18th and they know that they have been sent to Narela.
The caregivers are feeling quite helpless as there is no police cooperation.
Is the police hiding someone?
According to them 50 dogs were picked up from the area, hence the dogs must have been picked up by professional people.
Such professional dog catchers either work for municipal corporations or for animal welfare NGOs.
Someone is definitely behind getting the sterilized dogs picked.
Who is it?
Why were the dogs picked up just two weeks before Delhi elections?
Was it done to woo the voters?
Why isn't the police sharing the footage of the CCTV camera?
Whom are they trying to save?
The Dogitization team tried to speak to the two policemen involved with this case Rajinder and Mukesh. Rajinder didn't pick up the call and Mukesh.........

Crime is a crime. No crime is big or small.
Crime against animals is no less important than crime against humans.
If only our politicians who have become so petty minded understood this then probably what has happened in Delhi would have never happened.
A criminal is a criminal. Breaking any law is a crime and no matter how influential or important the person may be he or she should definitely be punished.
The Delhi Chief Minister has no time to spare for stray dogs and bring reforms in the ABC programme.
It's been more than four months since this petition but he doesn't find this important.
The East Delhi Municipal Corporation is making all wrong, impractical and illegal decisions regarding dogs. Have they ever tried to work on Dog Rules with full honesty and integrity.
If they had then probably East Delhi would not have been in such a sad state. Weak and poor governance is the reason why East Delhi had to face lawlessness and riots on Monday (24th February 2020) which claimed human lives.
The Father of the nation said "the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it's animals are treated"
How great we are and how much moral progress we have made is no longer hidden from the world......
