A group of school children of Noida's Shiv Nadar school have come out with an artificial limb for stray dogs who have amputated legs.
These are class tenth students who are 15 year old. The school every year gives their student a societal project called Capstone. Under the project the students have to come out with solutions for any social problems they see and face around them.
The young girls (Arushi, Spriha, Navya, Utpal, Shreeya and Navya) had one thing in common and that was their love for the dogs. They were saddened by seeing the dismal condition the stray dogs live around them.
They had seen the hard life of Alita an Indian stray puppy who had lost her limbs in a train accident on the railway tracks and ever since she was living in an NGO in Noida. Alita is now 10 months old.
The group decided to make an artificial limb for Alita their furry friend. It took them six months to finally come up with a prosthetic limb. They call it Pawsitivity.
To know the whole journey of these brave and intelligent Samaritans go to the link below:
While people like Priyanka Rana and her supporters are spitting venom against dogs and doing everything possible to make their life a hell, here are just a bunch of kids who spent 6 months in bringing positivity and security in the lives of their furry friends.
Nothing can be more shameful than this.
The people of Ghaziabad are trying to protect their children from man's best friend and just few kilometres away in Noida a group of children are doing every thing possible to bring joy into the lives of their furry friends.
People of Ghaziabad should have asked their children to be compassionate towards dogs. Their children are being bitten because of wrong parenting. They are responsible for all the dog bites in their area.
The dog haters of Ghaziabad the problem is in their mind. They just don't know how to behave rightly with the man's best friend. Neither they know it nor they want to learn it.
They should Invite these young students of Shiv Nagar school in theur area and learn how to ethically and humanely treat stray dogs.
Noida and Ghaziabad are neighbours and are in the same state of Uttar Pradesh but just look at their attitude towards the man's best friend.
Hats off to the parents and teachers of these young school going kids who had the empathy and compassion to work for the being who is often a subject of hate and human cruelty in India.
India needs more of such parents, teachers and schools.
