Leena a caregiver found a two month old puppy just a few days back. Being a lawyer, mother and a wife she has to look after both her home and profession. But this small bundle of joy she just couldn't leave on the streets to die. She tried her level best to find a home for the young fellow but till now she has not succeeded in getting one.

On 30th January 2020 a puppy has been relocated and left in West Vinod Nagar to die. It is crying and needs the mother desperately. If he doesn't find a home orf his mother he will certainly die.

A week back. A small puppy was found on the staircase of a DDA colony in East Delhi. Somebody had deliberately left him there. The puppy was hardly one month old. One of the residents of the building took pity on him and adopted him. The puppy was lucky to find a home but not all are lucky.

On  27th January a caregiver (Shanti- M- 8799745615) found an abandoned puppy near Mandavali. She took pity on him and took him with him to her residence. She already has dogs in her house but she just couldn't leave the puppy to die. She tried to find a home for him and she got success. The puppy has got adopted by her neighbours. But not all puppies are lucky to get a home. Most of them die after relocation.

Four sterilized dogs are missing from East Vinod Nagar from  Saturday night (25th January 2020). The caregivers (Hema- 9818997626) are trying to get the CCTV footage and are also taking the help of the police  to get the camera footage. According to the stray dog laws sterilized dogs cannot be picked up. No government machinery can do it. But someone has done it secretly just to get rid of the dogs in the area.

While the Delhi Govt is busy with it's election campaign there are puppies and dogs who are being relocated almost daily in the capital city. There is no government awareness campaign for them. No awareness about stray dog laws and no awareness about the ABC programme.

The stray dogs were and still are the sole responsibility of the caregivers only. They are fighting to keep them alive against all odds.
