This is a harrowing story of Seema a middle aged lady who stays in old Delhi. She has been looking after street dogs and cats of her area for  past many years.

She herself stays in a very modest accommodation but paucity of space has never dettered her from keeping abandoned and homeless dogs in her home.

She has suffered all kinds of humiliations. Right from abuses to threats. Once the people who were against her poured acid on her dogs just to discourage her from feeding them. She saw them die after suffering from burn injuries. She could nothing. The people who killed the dogs are still roaming freely and she just feels helpless. Law didn't take it's own course but we hope that karma will one day.....

Seema even today goes out at night around 2 AM to feed the dogs on the streets so that her neighbours do not trouble her and say bad things to her. She is constantly abused and humiliated for feeding the dogs. People call her mad.

They make fun of her and tease her. But all that has never discouraged her from feeding the dogs.

She says that nothing fears her and she is not afraid of anything but when someone tortures her four legged friends tears roll down her eyes. She just can't see them in pain. When they cry she cries with them.

ATM (All  time meal)  is the one of the most innovative techniques of providing food and water to the birds and dogs in India. The upper portion provides food and water to the birds and the lower portion provides to the dogs.

This is an initiative started by a caregiver Gaurav Khurana in Panipat (in the state of Haryana). They have installed the ATM stands at various public places like bus stands and railways stations where the dogs and birds find difficulty in finding caregivers and  hence die of starvation and thirst. They are now installing such useful ATM stands in various parts of India.

We salute such caregivers who are day and night just living for their voiceless friends and doing everything possible to make their lives happy and healthy.
