The ministers of India are mostly ignorant about the Constitution of India especially the part which talks about compassion towards animals and that it is our duty to protect our flaura and fauna. The chief minister of Haryana was to go to Jind for the republic day celebration. Just two days before the celebration during the rehearsal four dogs who were residing in the same area came in between the rehearsals. The officials who were looking into the security of the chief minister found it very annoying and they asked the corporation employees to relocate the dogs from there. And leaving all the laws behind the employees picked the four dogs and dumped them in a 6 feet deep enclosure ( a gutter) with their legs and mouth tied with a cloth. It is told that the dogs have been removed from their to some unknown location.
What happened with the dogs of Jind is not only illegal but also inhuman.
What kind of corporation workers has India got? They openly flout rules and regulations. They are the commissioners and the collectors who are highly paid government employees. Do they deserve that position? Can't they tell this simple rule to their ministers and chief minsters that removing dogs from their place is an offence. And the only way they can curtail their population is through Sterilization.
Well the republic day is celebrated to honour our constitution. Did the Chief Minister of Haryana, the commissioners, collectors and employees of Jind corporation honour it?
Is republic day all about saluting the national flag, singing the national anthem and watching the parade? Well for the Indian ministers and bureaucrats this is what it seems. And just for these three ceremonial things four dogs were tortured and illegally confined in a gutter in the city of Jind. And God knows where they are now?????
