A video has gone viral on social media where two young college students are playing with a puppy as if the puppy is a ball to be tossed in the air. And their female companions are taking their video and finding the whole episode quite hilarious. The mother of the puppy is watching helplessly her child being thrown like a ball.
Watch the video and see how apathetic and cruel young minds can be.

The incident is of Chouksey Engineering College in the state of Chattisgarh.
Are the young students responsible for this irresponsible behaviour or are their parents and teachers responsible for their behaviour and their cruel attitude towards dogs?
They were lucky that the mother of the puppy didn't bite them but mostly mother's bite such students and then they go yelling to the administration and their parents complaining that the dog bit them. And not once the administration or the parents think that their children may have been wrong and may have provoked the mother to bite. And then all unanimously declare the mother a rabid dog and beat her with sticks and stones till she dies.
This is the level of ignorance Indians have regarding dogs and rabies.
This incident has taken place within a college campus. Isn't it time that the Animal Welfare Board of India make guidelines for dog management in schools and colleges?
What kind of national emergency is the board waiting for?
How many more cases of dog cruelty? At least we can stop them from happening in educational institutions.
