In Jabalpur (in the state of Madhya Pradesh) a meeting was convened by the Energy minister which was held to discuss how to get rid of the street animals. And after having the meeting with a round of tea and snacks which is usually the norm in India they unanimously decided that the dogs and the pigs be removed from their area as soon as possible.

Jabalpur is one of the cities in the making of a smart city. Are the ministers of this country smart enough that they have decided to make their cities smart?
What is the energy minister doing in a meeting whose agenda is related to dogs?
Fine, even if they are doing a meeting do the people present in the meeting know about stray dog laws?
Do they know that they cannot relocate dogs or remove them from their place?
Was there a single dissent in the meeting?
If the answer is no, then not a single person present in the meeting was qualified and worthy enough to hold such a meeting.
They should know that the only way they can reduce dog population is by getting them sterilized and they cannot order to get the dogs removed.
Honourable ministers of India please have some compassion in your heart. You can't make smart cities on the blood of the voiceless souls.
The dogs in India are being killed, relocated and starved to death either in the name of smart city or in the name of swachhta.
Please open Sterilization centres for the dogs and adopt a dog yourself. please set good examples yourself. And do not take decisions in official meetings and pass orders which are illegal.
Isn't Jabalpur a part of India?
Then why this illegal decision of removing them from Jabalpur?
Also can't understand what was the Energy minister doing in the meeting? Do animals fall within the jurisdiction of the energy minister? Shouldn't the environment minister been conducting such a meeting?
What has pigs, dogs and street animals to do with energy?
The Environment Minister at the centre and the Chairman, Animal Welfare Board of India kindly intervene in this very serious and crucial matter. Please send directives to all the chief ministers of every state of India not to take illegal decisions regarding stray dogs in their states. Make them aware about dogs laws and ask them to open Sterilization centres.
Please put an end to this anarchy and misery.
