A few days back a video got viral of a stray dog named Pari who was beaten to death by sticks and stones. This happened in the city of Ratlam ( city in Madhya Pradesh) and the person who was responsible for her death was Narendra Chhapri a policeman with the municipal corporation of Ratlam. 

The video which was made by a group of children got viral and it landed in the WhatsApp group of Priyanshu Jain who is a resident of Indore city in the state of Madhya Pradesh and also happens to be the People for Animals member. People for Animals is an NGO which works for the welfare of animals rights throughout India. 

People for Animals has lodged an FIR against the culprit Narendra along with one more person who was also involved in the gruesome murder of Pari.

They have been booked under prevention of cruelty to animals act 1960 under section 11 and 429. 

We can now only hope that the court will take its own course  and punish the guilty. Being a government employee and that too working with the municipal corporation the punishment for Narendra should be more severe than any ordinary man. 

We will have to wait and watch what the court does in this case.

At least some justice has come to Pari. No peace for her murderers now. They might be still alive but their life will soon become a living hell.
