On the day of Diwali while everybody was busy celebrating the festival of lights few people were busy relocating and removing the only baby left with a voiceless and helpless mother. Making her Diwali a black Diwali.

On 23rd night hey had successfully removed three babies of this unfortunate mother.

And on Diwali they removed the only left.

The babies were only one and a half months old. The caregiver lodged a complaint against her neighbours whom she suspected to have removed the three babies on 24th night. Giving enough time for the police to take action.

Had the police taken action on 24 night or 25th morning then by all probability the last and fourth baby would not have been removed. Fear of law would have prevented the culprits from removing the fourth baby.

Yesterday on 28th October animal right activists and caregivers from various parts of Delhi assembled and went with the police to the suspected family's house.

But as always they denied that they had removed the babies.

There is a rumour going around that the family had put the pups in a sack and threw them in Sanjay Jheel Park which is near their locality.

The animal activists and caregivers searched the whole of Sanjay Jheel Park but not a trace of the pups.

The mother is in trauma. Just few days back she was surrounded by her four pups but today she is all alone searching madly for her babies without knowing that ther babies will never return.

The chances of their survival is almost negligible. And no one knows if the people who removed the babies killed them or just dumped them at an unknown location.

Has the police done their duty?

Shouldn't the police have interrogated the suspects when the caregiver lodged her complaint against them?

There was a video of the family threatening Ashu the caregiver for feeding the dogs. The video has gone viral and almost all people on animal groups have seen it.

How come the police didn't take this vital piece of evidence and interrogated the family?

Why every time the animal right activists and caregivers have to go to save the dogs and the caregivers from human atrocity?

Why doesn't law come to the rescue of the dogs and the caregivers?
